Digital Marketing Manager (The North Face, Reef, Vans, Jansport)

Salary: Competitive Salary » Ref: JL4910 » Location: Switzerland (South)

As the European Digital Interactive Marketing Manager for VF Corporation an apparel powerhouse with an incredibly diverse, international portfolio of brands and products including The North Face, Vans and Reef.  Based in Lugano, Switzerland you will be responsible leading and executing an e-marketing strategy (Email, Search, Affiliate marketing, Social and New Media) ensuring alignment with brand initiatives and optimisation of channels across EMEA in order to drive online sales and brand awareness.
 
Main Duties and Responsibilities;
 
Drive e-marketing plans and digital engagement (across all EMEA markets) for seasonal launches and new initiatives (events, promotions etc.) across VFC brands.
  • Drive qualified traffic and online conversion to website through search engine, affiliate program management, email marketing, shopping portals and other online channels/tools
  • Coordinate planning and media buying for eCom in developing markets (Pan-European ) to fully optimize use of most effective Channels 
  • Coordinate and ensure SEM/SEO alignment, Demand generation and Social marketing activities with Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Guide online campaign implementations and collaborate with brand manager to optimize cross channel strategies (events, digital, print media, PR etc.)
  • Work with Global/EMEA marketing team and Retail Team establishing online interaction with our customers across markets using email marketing, Search, social networking and CRM
  • Identify and negotiate partnerships with third party vendors to identify and apply solutions for customer acquisition, conversion and retention
Lead and drive content strategy from concept to implementation and continuous ROI measurement.
  • Drive Content Strategy: Create content (Copy, Translations, etc.) for specific initiatives (email, search, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely  with head of eCom for special promotions/product pushes assuring alignment with brand initiatives and desired ROI
  • Track and deliver reports on revenue impact and cost effectiveness of online marketing initiatives/campaigns
  • Increase Online Shopping via email marketing and loyalty programs (Create/participate in foundation for TNF’s CRM)

Candidate Requirements;

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in a business/marketing related discipline
  • Significant experience working in online marketing supporting brand and eCom business goals
  • Awareness and knowledge in diversifying strategies for acquisition, conversion and retention in different markets (Pan EU) through different channels (email, search, affiliate, SEO and on-line advertising).
  • Experience in a broad range of online marketing practices, with in-depth understanding of customer and consumer behaviors. Good awareness of technology development and support processes.
  • Project management –experience of managing online development projects and working with vendors, collaborating with other brand regions to share knowhow 
  • Experience working with external partners – digital design/web technology agencies, blogosphere and relevant social networks
  • Knowledge in  target messaging and segmentation (CRM)
