Michael Squires
Michael has been an executive search consultant since 1982; he has personally led well over 300 senior executive search assignments across most sectors, industries and functions. He was an early pioneer of executive search specifically in the sports industry and in the 1980’s carried out assignments for Mark McCormack the founder of IMG, and for the Football League in the UK.Previously Michael had been CEO of the Swiss based consultancy TASA International and on the acquisition of TASA by TMP Worldwide in 1998 he was appointed CEO of TMP Executive Search which was then rated in the top five global search firms with over 400 consultants operating in 24 countries. After over five years of being based in New York Michael returned to London in 2001 and embarked upon a portfolio career as a Private Equity investor and Director of a variety of different businesses.
As Chairman of Sports Recruitment Group Limited Michael’s primary function is to lead the firms strategy to become the worlds leading recruitment solutions firm specialising in the sports industries.
