James Thickett
James has spent the last 7 years working for a leading international recruitment consultancy, where he led the finance practice within London and was responsible for setting up and running the sales & marketing practice nationally. Throughout his career James has been responsible for handling roles within a variety of industry sectors including Sports, Telecoms and Technology, Energy Oil and Gas, Property and Retail and he has experience managing assignments in the UK, Europe and Asia. Roles include CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, CCO, Managing Partners, Vice Presidents and Commercial Directors.He joined Sports Recruitment International in 2008 and works across both the rights holders, agencies and clubs and teams markets. James has worked with a number of global clients within the sports industry and has a particular focus on football, rugby and motorsport. James graduated from the University of Southampton with a BA Hons in History.
