Founded in 2001 Sports Recruitment Group has its origins in the UK focusing on mid to senior level appointments in the UK sports market.  The Group has now evolved both through its range of services and geographic coverage of Europe, Asia and the Pacific with offices in Lausanne, Singapore and Sydney.  What remains central to its strategy is the focus on talent planning and acquisition in all aspects of the global sports industry.

In 2010, the company strengthened its top team of Consultants and restructured its Board of Directors.

The Board is Chaired by Michael Squires, a veteran of the global search industry and a pioneer of executive search in sport since the 1980s. See “Our Team” for more details of Michael’s experience.

Chris King is a founder of Sports Recruitment International and is an Executive Director of the business, again, see “Our Team” for further information.

Peter Worth, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Peter joined IMG and spent a total of 30 years in a wide range of senior management appointments in IMG’s worldwide business. Peter is recognized as a leading influencer in the increasing professionalisation of the commercial sports industry. Peter is a Non Executive Director with lead responsibility for the firm’s strategy development.

Anthony Rice is a Non Executive Director who draws on his 25 years experience in corporate finance and advising companies going through rapid growth.  Anthony is the Chairman of the Group’s Audit and Remuneration Committees.
